ATN announces second sponsorship deal with local netball team in Kent

In April 2022, ATN Partnership announced its first-ever sponsorship deal with STF Racing, helping local Gravesend racing sensation Kristian Stefanov keep his wheels firmly on track.

With local media picking up Kristian’s story in early June, supplementing the support that ATN Partnership provides to the local sporting star, ATN is delighted to announce that it has also teamed up with one of the regions leading netball teams, Medway based, Fairview Panthers.

Approaching their third anniversary, Fairway Panthers has won promotion in each of their first two years, a track record they are determined to maintain.

Playing weekly at the Rainham School for Girls in Gillingham, they now compete in the Medway Women’s League, currently sitting 3rd in division 2, firmly in the hunt for promotion once again.

Kasey Clarke, 21, Wing Attack at Fairway Panthers said:

“We’ve loved the past couple of years and are really proud of what we’ve achieved. It’s great to be able to get so many people interested in netball.

But an ever-present concern is what it costs us to run the club - we rely solely on private funding.

Everything from sportswear to accessories like bibs and reaction balls has a price. For example, a single netball can be as much as £15 and it might only last a few training sessions”.

As a Kent-based accountancy firm, ATN Partnership is always keen to back local teams and initiatives whenever it can.

Announcing the firm’s second sponsorship deal, Niyi Idowu, Partner at ATN said:

“Kasey made a compelling case. Fairview Panthers is a team that puts in the work and dedication that we, as a firm, love to see, and want to support.

They are clearly winners, but it is their commitment to sportsmanship and respect that really hit home with us as a firm. Their attitude fits in with our values, so it is a team that we wanted to be part of.”

Tahmina Ahmed, Senior Client Manager at ATN added:

“We see grassroots sports as being so important to the local community, really something that needs encouraging and developing.

Deciding to lift a financial burden off the team so they could focus on playing the game they love was really important to us".

Fairview Panthers train across Rochester, Gillingham, and Higham, playing matches on Tuesday/Wednesdays at Rainham School for Girls and Training at Higham Recreational Ground in between games.

They are currently a group of 10 women of various ages who just love to play netball.
